Egypt to host ITU’s Global Symposium for Regulators 2023

Under the theme “Regulation for a sustainable digital future,” the ITU’s Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-23) will address novel regulatory approaches needed to drive universal and meaningful connectivity while ensuring trustworthy and resilient digital infrastructure. The event will take place on 5-8 June, 2023 in Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt.

The Global Symposium for Regulators will be attended by the global regulatory community, policy-makers, industry bodies, academia, the private sector and ITU elected officials. 

GSR-23 is hosted by the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) of Egypt and will be chaired by Mr Hossam El Gamal, President of NTRA. The full conference will be held from 5 to 8 June.
